BCM also provides a custom alarm channel service, so that you can generate a custom alarm by monitoring the script, which is to be reported through the Alarm Report API to the BCM and pushed to you therefrom in time.

All-round Monitoring

Tencent BCM provides various load and performance monitoring metrics for CVM, Cloud Database, Cloud Memcache tablespace and other cloud products. Except for the CVM basic metrics which need to be reported through a monitoring agent installed, other basic metrics can be left to Tencent Cloud for automatic data reporting. You can view the monitoring data of metrics by logging in to BCM console or through API to meet all your needs for metrics monitoring.

Application Scenarios

Daily Inspection

If you want to fully control the overall situation of various cloud products in daily inspection:
Browse the CVM product monitoring view in the BCM console, if CPU utilization is the key service metric, select this column and click for sorting. Then the real-time monitoring data within 5 minutes will be displayed, from which you can find the CVMs with the highest and the lowest CPU utilization in the last 5 minutes as well as their difference, thus you can identify the abnormality through a comparison. If you want to view the abnormal CVM for a certain day in the past, you can select the date and sort by key metrics to find the abnormal CVM. The maximum values of the metrics in all monitoring periods for a day will be taken as the metric data.
